2015, St James’s Palace
The HRH Prince Edward hosted a retrospective and Q&A with Dame Judi Dench at St James’s Palace.

2014, Windsor Castle
The HRH Prince Edward hosted a retrospective and Q&A with Sam Mendes at Windsor Castle.
2013, Private Home
The HRH Prince Edward hosted a private dinner at a private home.
2012, New York
We took a group of our FWB participants from Israel, Rwanda, Palestine and Lebanon to New York where they were hosted by BAFTA NYC/NYU TISCH at an evening during which their short films were screened. The young people then participated in a Q&A session with BAFTA members and TISCH students. The following evening they were hosted by The HRH Prince Edward, who chaired a debate with Mike Newell.. Our participants took centre stage and spoke about the importance of film, and their countries.
2011, Windsor Castle
Whoopi Goldberg participated in a retrospective at Windsor Castle, hosted by The HRH Prince Edward. Following this event our students conducted an interview with her, and made a short film entitled “Things I learned from Whoopi”. The students were subsequently flown to Cannes, where their films were screened, and took part in a networking lunch hosted by David Morris.
2010, Buckingham Palace
Together with George Lucas, HRH Prince Edward launched Films Without Borders at a reception held in the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace.
